Invacare focuses in three geographic areas which are North America, Europe, and Australia and they group its products into three distinct product categories.

The first categories is standard products, these products include manual wheelchairs, mobility aids, home care bed, bath safety products and patient transport equipment. Since 2001, Invacare has introduced 75 new products. Invacare has categorized their wheelchairs into four different type, with this much variety their product line can attract many different people in their market, the categories are custom manual wheelchairs, IVC manual wheelchairs, power wheelchairs, and top end sports and recreation products.

Invacare custom manual wheelchairs consist of three lines of wheelchairs designs which are pediatric, performance, and positioning. The pediatric line consists of non tilt in space and tilt in space design for children with the need for the wheelchair. The non tilt in space line of wheelchair is a versatile manual wheelchair line that is can "grow" with the child.

Built with performance in mind these wheelchairs provide three frame options; curved frame, square frame, and extended frame. Each of these frames will provide the needs-responsiveness (curved frame), stability (square frame), and growth (extended frame). With the tilt in space line of wheelchairs, it features a 55 degree tilt range with an adjustable pivot point. The design of these wheelchairs allows a lot of versatility and will fit the needs of most pediatric users.

Custom performance wheelchairs are broken down to two lines of chairs; folders and rigid. The folder line of wheelchairs is similar to the pediatric non tilt in space line of wheelchairs and they can extend/"growing" and have three frame options. The rigid line of chairs consists of a light weight frame that is compact and is made easy to transport. It is created for active users due to it strong frame structure.

The positioning line consist of two line of chairs like the pediatric; non tilt in space and tilt in space. The positioning non tilt in space chair has a folding extended frame design and focuses on positioning, growth, portability, and foot propulsion. The tilt in space wheelchair provides a durable and light weight option and features a 45 degree of posterior tilt.

Invacare creates a signature line of IVC manual wheelchairs with five product lines of, chairs. The first one is the Careguard. It has several models ranging from 16 inch to 18 inch seat dimension, each with their own special features such as desk arm rest, permanent arm rest and other leg resting features.

The IVC Bariatric and Heavy Duty are a series of heavy duty wheelchairs with wider seats made from carbon steel frames. These wheelchairs generally are made for larger people. IVC lightweight wheelchairs are versatile and lightweight weighing less then 36 pounds for the entire series. These chairs are good for long term and short term use. They come in many styles and have an extra advantage of share interchangeable parts.

The Invacare IVC Manual wheelchair provides it's users with a lightweight aluminum frame structure. With two models: the transport chair and the Tracer EX2. The transport comes in sizes from 16" to 19", while the Tracers are slightly larger.

Invacare produces numerous power wheelchairs in which some reclines, tilts, and elevates and some with the combination of all three features. It is well known that Invacare produces basic power wheelchairs that will fit the need of any consumers. The Nurtron series is a perfect example of a power wheelchair, providing it's consumers with a compact design and rear-wheel drive and speed capabilities of up to 4 mph.

Finally Invacare produces top end sports and recreation wheelchair for such sports as basketball, hand cycling, and racing. The basketball wheelchair come in a solid frame so there are no bolts to loosen as well there are many adjustable features for this series of wheelchairs.

The hand cycle wheelchair are made light weight and with excellent control. The cranks are made with aluminum; this reduces the weight but maximizes the stiffness. This wheelchair offers 27 speeds that are operated by Shimano Rapid fire hands on shifter and brake which delivers smooth responsive shifting and braking. The Top End Eliminator is Invacare only racing wheelchair. It is made stiff for maximum speed, with exceptional stability and aerodynamics.
